Polly is a long-time member of Judson. She is a graduate of Bethel University and is currently enrolled in the School of Lay Ministry at Luther Seminary. Polly retired several years ago after spending 40 years in nonprofit work.

In addition to her activities at Judson, including singing in the choir, Polly has a passion for reading, theater, poetry, knitting, watercolor painting, hummingbirds and needle felting. She enjoys trying her hand at various instruments, including folk harp and hammered dulcimer. She has one son, John, who works for the University of California, San Francisco. Polly and her 15-year-old shih tzu-yorkie, Maggie, live in downtown Minneapolis.
