Our goal is to work toward enabling Judson Church to be a place of inclusiveness and an active ally on racial justice issues. We welcome anyone with an interest in racial justice to join the team. We focus on dismantling our own racial biases and unconscious prejudices, sharing educational opportunities and resources with the Judson community, and taking actions that work toward racial justice within our church and the broader community. If you would like more information, are interested in joining the team or wish to share concerns and ideas, please fill out this  form (select Racial Justice Team), and let us know what you would like to discuss.
We meet on the third Monday of the month from 5-6:30 PM virtually on Zoom* (click to expand)
Typical agenda includes:
- Personal check-in/books or resource recommendations/workshops or other community events with Racial Justice themes that might be of interest etc.
- New items for discussion – projects that the team is working on, trainings, opportunities for partnering with other organizations on racial justice issues.Â
- Updates on past events/experiences
This team is co-led with opportunities for all members to lead the monthly meeting, record minutes, and work on sub-groups and projects.
All are welcome to join the team. If you are interested in visiting a team meeting to see if it is a fit for you or if you would like to join, please fill out this form (select Racial Justice Team) so we can send you the meeting link and add your name to the team list.
*On occasion we change our meetings to accommodate holidays. Please check the Judson monthly calendar for meeting dates.
